Climbing the Moleson mountain

Climbing the Moleson mountain with a guide

The restaurants on the way

The first route of the Via Ferrata in the Moleson mountain was created in 2003. This summer a new route, slightly more difficult has been opened. Both tracks will bring you to the top in all safety.

The different routes

Climbing the Moleson mountain

You can either walk from the village of Moleson or take the cable car to the Plan Francey station, once up there follow the signs that take you to the starting point. If you don’t have the climbing material, there is a possibility to rent it (only on reservation).

Climbing the Moleson mountain with a guide

The routes are secured. But in the case you don’t feel safe, we can offer you a guide who helps you to get to the summit.
Olivier and his team are professional mountain guides. They will teach you the basics of climbing, tell you the anecdotes about their own mountain experience. Don’t hesitate to use the help of a guide!

The restaurants on the way

Once on top of the Moleson mountain you can celebrate your achievement with your friends around a genuine cheese-fondue! Carole and Jean-Bernard welcome you to the observatory on the top of the mountain!
Or on your way down, you can stop to enjoy a typical meal from our region on the sunny terrace of the Plan Francey restaurant.
